Yes, in very rare cases, AKEP may refuse domain registration if the data provided by the registrar is incorrect or incomplete. In case your domain name is classified as a reserved or prohibited name according to the AKEP regulation, the domain registration may also be refused. We encourage our customers to consult the list of banned and reserved domains (See more ) or the register of registered trademarks ( here ).

In case your domain is rejected after payment, the registration of .al domains goes through an approval process by the registry. Normally, they will check that registrars have correct contact information for each domain, and they will check against banned names and in some cases for trademark infringement.

In the event that your domain registration is declined, we refund you either by adding credits to your account in our system or by refunding through the payment gateway.
